In School Training

STRAND 4 CPD OFFER

In-school training is offered as CPD workshops delivered within academies by education advisors or Greenwood Learning Alliance facilitators from within the region. 

Each workshop lasts approximately 2.5 hours and can be delivered as part of an INSET, as a twilight or staff meeting.  Sessions can be joined together to make a half, or full day training and academies can work together if required. 

Each session is £250 (whole day £500) and this year’s CPD suite offered is detailed below:

SEND and Inclusion Suite

  • Academy review of SEND Provision, Impact and Leadership of SEND
  • Introduction to Autism
  • Expectations of Behaviour of SEND Pupils
  • Introduction to the Educational Needs that Pupils with SEND have
  • Understanding the Behaviour Cycle
  • Physical Intervention Workshop to Include Evaluating, Reporting & Recording

Safeguarding Suite

  • Whole staff inset

  • Direct Work with Vulnerable Children
  • Sexually Harmful Behaviour
  • CEOP Induction training
  • Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent (WRAP)
  • DSL Refresher Training (2 sessions)
  • 2 day DSL Training (minimum 10 people)

SIMS Suite
